Due to the fact that we had a 4 year old and a 2 year old at Hogwarts this year I decided to have a class just for them. In lieu of a regular "class" I brought out a letter from Professor Dumbledore informing the students that several of the animals from Care of Magical Creatures had escaped and that all students were needed to find them. Each animal was worth a certain number of points and whoever racked up the most points would win a prize (although in actuality I had a prize for both of them.) And really, when it came down to it, they were too young to be concerned about which animal was worth which points - it was just like an Easter egg hunt for them. And yes, my back porch is strewn with toys and baby things that were pushed out for the party.
