Potions Class

I saved Potions for after the kids went to bed. I wanted everybody to actually have to MAKE something by following directions rather than just mix stuff together. The ingredients used were on the entertainment center with everything else so they had to find the ingredients first. The first potion we made was Polyjuice potion. This was a density layering trick. It used maple syrup, corn syrup, dish washing soap, water (dyed blue), oil, and rubbing alcohol (dyed purple).

Potion #1 Polyjuice Potion

Pretty cool looking don't you think?
The student with the best Polyjuice potion won the Sorcerer's Stone (a prism from Michael's)

The second potion was Skelegro. This was a recipe for goo made of Elmers glue, water, and Borax.
Potion #2 Skelegro
The best Skelegro won a vile of Felix Felicis (nectar from a can of apricots.)
